Insulation Options

Metal Building Insulation Questions?

Here’s some helpful information to help you make the right choice of insulation for your metal structure. Our insulations options vary in R-Value and some have no R-Value. 

We offer 5 options for you to choose from:

  • 2″ Fiberglass Insulation: 
    R-value: 6
    This is a type of blanket insulation that is made from fiberglass. It is installed between the metal panels and provides good thermal insulation. 
  • Double Bubble Moisture Barrier (No R-value): This type of insulation is a moisture barrier made up of polyethylene air bubbles with a layer of metalized film backing. It is designed to prevent moisture from penetrating the building and can help regulate temperature. 
  • Therma-Guard Moisture Barrier (No R-value): This is a type of rigid board that is like insulation in that is made from fiberglass or foam plastics like polystyrene. It is installed between the metal panels and provides excellent thermal insulation.
  • House Wrap Moisture Barrier (No R-value): This type of insulation is typically used as a weather barrier and is installed over the metal panels. It helps prevent air infiltration and can help regulate temperature.
